In mission partnership with The Church of St. Giles
The Church of Saint Giles is dedicated to improving the lives of
individuals with disabilities, their families and caregivers.
The Saint Giles ministry was the fruition of a dream of Rev. Webb and of
several thoughtful and deeply committed individuals. Rev. Webb is a
type 1 diabetic and life-long athlete. His dream has been supported by
an active, committed group of individuals, some with apparent
disabilities, and some without. Our goal is to help others with disabilities
through the various programs offered by the Church of Saint Giles.
Rev. William (Bill) G. Webb
Bill has been a lifelong athlete and fitness enthusiast. He has been active for over thirty years
in coaching, advising, organizing, and facilitating running and fitness events, local and
international. He continues this work in Tulsa. Rev. Webb, a Type 1 diabetic, has completed 32
marathons. Bill’s focus is working with beginning athletes and individuals with disabilities and
chronic diseases. From 1981-1985 he worked as a Staff Chaplain at Harris Methodist Center.
From August 1990 until January 2001 Rev. Webb served as Pastor and Head of Staff at Faith
Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In 2001 he developed a unique ministry, The Church of Saint Giles, under the supervision of
the Board of Missions of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, focusing on the needs of
individuals with disabilities.
Bill’s ordination credentials are recognized and cared for by Red River Presbytery (CPC) and
the Eastern Oklahoma Presbytery (PCUSA).
Bill is married to Cindy Webb. They have a daughter, Kathryn, attending TU, and a son, Alex,
who is a student/athlete at OSU. The family is rounded out by Cubby, the Springer Spaniel;
Roxie, the Whippet; and Asia the cat.
