We strive to provide youth the opportunity to grow into mature Christian adults. Eric Hudgens joined the Southminster staff in September, 2012 to work with the youth.  Some of the projects and activities they have participated in are: “Friday Fun Night” events – including painting, ping pong, basketball, pizza, dodgeball, cooking and a variety of other games and activities. Sunday Morning Bible Study – using the Presbyterian “God Questions” guide to study and discuss challenging questions about God. Mission Outreach – the youth helped gather and deliver Thanksgiving meals for “The Peoria House”, distributed Christmas Gifts to Goodland Academy in Hugo, Oklahoma, collected canned goods before Christmas for the Community Food Bank, and serve food at the Tulsa Community Day Center, interacting with and helping to encourage the homeless. Re-organization of the Youth Rooms, including designing the North room for Bible study, discussions and community time, and designing the South room for games, activities and crafts.
