Our Purpose Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s Kingdom.

The Presbyterian Women circles meet monthly (September through May) for fellowship, Bible study, and to support the mission work of the church. We invite all women to join us in this fellowship. A new Bible study is provided to us each year by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The women also give several dinners and host activities throughout the year for our church members. Our circles are a way to strengthen friendships, strengthen our faith, and strengthen our knowledge of God’s world and His plan for each of us.

Circles Covenant and Rainbow Circles:

The Presbyterian Women of Southminster are going to try something new beginning this fall.  We want to include women who are unable to join us for prayer, study and fellowship during the week.  Beginning September 17, 2016 the Rainbow-Covenant Circle will meet in Forbes Parlor on the third SATURDAY of each month at 10:00 AM.  Light refreshments, prayer, study and fellowship will be available for every woman of our congregation.  Here will be our schedule: September 17 October 22 November 19 December 17 January 21 February 18 March 18 April 22 (fourth Wednesday due to Easter) May 20 Please rsvp to Elaine Dodd, 918-607-6508 or patriotic1970@gmail.com if you plan to join us this year in Presbyterian Women.  Study books will be ordered for those who rsvp and available before the first meeting.  We are excited about growing our Circle and the mission work of Presbyterian Women at Southminster.  We look forward to welcoming all women to the Rainbow-Covenant Circle.  Elaine Dodd patriotic1970@gmail.com
